ACCESSIBLE
The Middle of Nowhere art park and cafe are not completely accessible, but wheelchair access is possible under certain conditions. We want to offer all our visitors the opportunity to enjoy art and nature, and that’s why we have taken accessibility into account as best we can.
Getting to know the exhibition
The exhibition is mainly built in outdoor spaces, but the indoor spaces also have works by a few artists. In the indoor exhibition, you can move around with a wheelchair. Part of the routes in the outdoor area is a gravel path, which makes it possible to move around with a wheelchair there as well. About half of the artworks in the outdoor area can be seen from a wheelchair. However, please note that the graveled route is too challenging to walk without an assistant.
Cafe and sanitary facilities
Our art cafe is designed with accessibility in mind. The cafe can be accessed via a wheelchair ramp, and there is an accessible toilet for the disabled so you can easily enjoy delicious food and a cozy atmosphere in the cafe.
Although the Middle of Nowhere art park is not completely accessible, we strive to provide the most accessible experience possible for all our visitors. We recommend contacting you in advance if you have questions about accessibility or need additional information for your visit.
